Risk, uncertainty, opportunity,
change and innovation: some of these words are found in every definition
of entrepreneurship.
These words are the rebel yell of creativity against rational information based decision making; no wonder many entrepreneurship theories state that systematic methods cannot significantly contribute to entrepreneurship ventures. "To boldly go where no one has gone before" is the famous opening line of Star Trek sci-fi series where a vessel is sent to explore deep space. You don't know what you find until you go there, like in entrepreneurship. Thus, exploration could be a good metaphor for entrepreneurship.
